A cracked molar at dinner, a child's first checkup at age 2, a cleaning you have been putting off: here in Arcadia, Wisconsin, each of these can be handled close to home. Our Rivertown Dental office is the only dental office in Arcadia, and we serve families across rural Trempealeau County with care that ranges from routine cleanings to dental implants. Se habla espanol: four bilingual members of our Arcadia team are glad to help you in Spanish.

Arcadia is a close-knit, hardworking community, and a trip out of town for dental care can mean missed shifts and long drives. That is why we keep a full-service office here. Rivertown Dental is locally owned and dentist-led, with four offices across the Coulee Region in La Crosse, Holmen, Arcadia and Viroqua. Dr. Katherine Cahill and Dr. Ricardo Aparicio see patients at our Arcadia office. Several of our doctors work at more than one location, so you are connected to a larger team when you need it.

Our Arcadia office is open Monday through Thursday and closed on Fridays. Because so many of our neighbors speak Spanish at home, our bilingual team members can explain treatment, answer questions and help with scheduling so nothing gets lost in translation. Patients have given our Arcadia office 245 Google reviews with a 4.9 star average, and the practice has more than 1,600 reviews across all four offices (as of November 2026).

Most visits start with prevention. A dental exam and cleaning with our hygienist, digital X-rays, an oral cancer screening, and fluoride or sealants for kids help catch small problems early. When something does need repair, we offer fillings, inlays, onlays, bridges, molar root canal therapy and simple extractions. With our on-site dental lab and same-day CEREC crowns, many patients can have a crown designed and placed in a single visit.

We also treat gum disease with scaling and root planing and ongoing periodontal maintenance, and we offer night mouth guards and TMJ/TMD therapy for clenching and jaw discomfort. For cosmetic goals, we provide in-office teeth whitening, porcelain veneers and clear aligners. When teeth are missing, we place and restore dental implants in-house. For patients who need full-arch or full mouth dental implants, that care is available through our Implant Clinic in Holmen, so you can stay with the same Rivertown team.

Why Do Arcadia Families Choose Rivertown Dental?

Many families tell us they want one practice for everyone, from a toddler's first visit to a grandparent's crown. We see patients of all ages, starting at age 2, and we keep advanced care local, including oral surgery and implants, without a referral out of the area. For nervous patients, we offer nitrous oxide for children and IV sedation for adults.

We call our approach The Ascent Experience: advanced care, genuine comfort, and a better experience from start to finish. Here is what that looks like in our chair:

  • Warm towelettes, blankets, support pillows, headphones and essential oils
  • Clear explanations of your options before any treatment begins
  • No judgment about how long it has been since your last visit
  • Help in Spanish from our bilingual team members

How Can I Pay for Dental Care?

We work with many dental insurance plans. Since coverage varies, please call our Arcadia office and we will help you confirm your benefits before your visit. We also welcome self-pay patients.

If you do not have insurance, our Rivertown Membership Plans, also called the VIP Program, offer Classic, Deluxe and Kids plans. Each includes cleanings, exams, X-rays and fluoride, plus a discount on treatment. Membership plans cannot be combined with insurance. For larger treatment, third-party financing through Cherry, CareCredit and Proceed Finance is available to patients who qualify, and our team can walk you through how to apply.

How Do I Get Started?

Getting started is simple. Call our Arcadia office to schedule an exam and cleaning, ask about insurance or membership plans, or talk through a specific concern. You can ask for a Spanish-speaking team member when you call. At your first visit, we will review your health history, take any needed X-rays, examine your teeth and gums, and explain what we find in plain language.

If you have a dental emergency, call the office closest to you for the earliest opening. We work to see emergencies the same day when our schedule allows, and we will do everything we can to accommodate same-day, next-day or walk-in care at any of our four offices.

Whether you need a routine visit or a bigger plan for your smile, our Arcadia team is ready to help. Dentistry, Done Differently.
