Our Viroqua office is one of four Rivertown Dental locations in the Coulee Region, along with La Crosse, Holmen and Arcadia. We are locally owned and dentist-led. Decisions about your care are made by dentists who know this region, not by an outside corporation. In Viroqua, you will see Dr. Jacob Beilke and Dr. Jagger Stephens, who both joined us in 2026, and our Clinical Director, Dr. Jon Cochrane. Several of our doctors work at more than one office, so the care you get here matches what patients receive across our practice.
We know many Viroqua patients would rather not travel for advanced treatment. That is why we keep as much care local as we can. Implants, full mouth reconstruction, oral surgery and IV sedation are all available within Rivertown Dental, without a referral out of the area. Our Viroqua office is open Monday through Thursday and closed on Fridays, so plan your visits around that schedule.
Most visits start with the basics: a dental exam, a cleaning with our hygienist and digital X-rays. During your exam, we also check for gum disease and perform an oral cancer screening. Children are welcome starting at age 2. We offer fluoride treatments and dental sealants to help protect young teeth. If we find a problem, we explain it in plain language and walk you through your options before anything happens.
Restorative care covers fillings, inlays, onlays, bridges, molar root canal therapy and same-day CEREC crowns, which can often be finished in a single visit. For gum health, we offer scaling and root planing and ongoing periodontal maintenance. Cosmetic options include in-office teeth whitening, porcelain veneers, clear aligners and smile-design consultations. We also make night mouth guards and provide TMJ therapy for jaw discomfort. For missing teeth, we place and restore dental implants in-house. Full-arch implant care is handled through our Implant Clinic inside the Holmen building.

A cracked tooth, sudden swelling or a lost crown should not wait. If you have a dental emergency, call the office closest to you for the earliest opening. We work to see emergencies the same day when our schedule allows, and we will do everything we can to accommodate same-day, next-day or walk-in care at any of our four offices.

How Do Insurance and Payment Work?
We work with many dental insurance plans. Please call our office to confirm your coverage before your visit, and our team will help you understand your benefits. We also welcome self-pay patients.
If you do not have insurance, the Rivertown Membership Plans, also called our VIP Program, are another option. We offer Classic, Deluxe and Kids plans. Each includes cleanings, exams, X-rays and fluoride, plus a discount on treatment. These plans cannot be combined with insurance. For larger treatment, third-party financing is available through Cherry, CareCredit and Proceed Finance, subject to the lender's qualification and approval.
